I’m Andy, a tea enthusiast.
Liugui in Kaohsiung is one of the most famous regions in Taiwan for producing wild mountain tea.
Each year, the Kaohsiung City Agriculture Bureau hosts the **Kaohsiung Indigenous Wild Tea Evaluation**,
selecting distinctive “mountain teas” that represent the region’s unique character.
Yoshantea has long served as one of the evaluation committee members for the Liugui tea area.
Besides assisting in the judging process, we also share tea management knowledge with local tea farmers.
Unlike previous years when the event was held in Liugui,
this year’s ceremony took place at the Kaohsiung Pier-2 Art Center,
with Mayor Chen Chi-Mai personally presenting the awards.
The event attracted a lively crowd, visitors not only enjoyed the flavor of Kaohsiung’s mountain tea,
but also experienced the warmth and lively spirit of Kaohsiung during the Beginning of the Winter season.
