Aromatic Tea from Both Sides of the Strait Enriches Jinan - Yoshantea Joins Jinan Treaty Port Museum

Aromatic Tea from Both Sides of the Strait Enriches Jinan - Yoshantea Joins Jinan Treaty Port Museum

As spring arrives in full bloom and spring water trickles gently,

the tea aroma from Taiwan’s mountain forests quietly enters the Jinan Treaty Port Museum,

softly resonating with the historic pulse of this century-old trading district.

Starting May 1, 2025,

Yoshantea partners with the popular Taiwanese dessert brand SenseiCake to co-host a tea service at the Spring Water Bookroom inside the Jinan Treaty Port Museum.

A cup of tea and a bite of dessert spark a gentle cross-strait cultural dialogue.

The Jinan Treaty Port Museum, which commemorates the founding of China’s first self-opened treaty port in 1904,

now serves as a cultural symbol of Jinan’s pioneering spirit.

Yoshantea has established a tea culture experience space here,

channeling the pure and smooth flavors of Taiwan’s high mountain teas—from Lu Gu to Ali Shan—

into the City of Springs. Visitors can sense the natural rhythm and the heart of craftsmanship in every breath and sip.

Sitting by the window, savoring a cup of Dong Ding Oolong paired with SenseiCake’s signature 128-layer handmade mille crêpe,

the combination of tea and dessert creates a refreshing and elegant layering of flavor, letting Jinan’s charm blossom quietly on the palate.

From tea mountains to the city of springs, from artisanal hands to cultural space,

this cultural encounter is not just an exhibit, but a slow, flowing tea journey between history and modernity.

This May, let the aroma of tea guide you through the treaty port era,

and experience the touching harmony of cross-strait culture in a single cup of tea.
