Hello everyone,
This is Andy, a tea enthusiast.
In recent years, ESG, SDGs, and CSR have become key concepts in business management.
Governments, investors, and consumers are all paying closer attention to how companies address environmental, social, and governance issues.
Put simply, these terms all point to one thing: Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
But today, the “society” that companies are responsible to is no longer just the general public.
It’s a broad and complex network that includes suppliers, employees, customers, neighboring communities, government agencies, and media.
Their expectations and perceptions directly influence a company’s reputation and sustainability.
For large corporations, fulfilling CSR often comes with structured policies, budgets,
and annual ESG reports-setting carbon neutrality goals, reducing emissions across the supply chain, and more.
While commendable, such efforts can be extremely difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to replicate.
Still, “difficult” doesn’t mean “optional.”
At its core, CSR is simple: Take from society, and give back to society.
It doesn’t always require major investment. More importantly, it calls for consistent, sincere actions in everyday operations.
We believe that when small, conscientious choices are made over time,
they create meaningful impact. These actions help a company become more resilient,
build trust, and deliver value-not only to consumers and partners, but to the next generation.
Here are some examples:
• Environmental responsibility: Avoiding excessive packaging, choosing recyclable or compostable materials, and switching to LED lighting to reduce energy use.
• Governance (G): Avoiding the use of personal apps like LINE for business communication.Instead, using official platforms helps ensure data security and promotes a clear, professional work culture.
• Social (S): Placing feminine hygiene products in men’s restrooms-a simple gesture that demonstrates support for gender equality and inclusion.
These may seem like minor actions, but they are tangible reflections of a company’s values.
When documented-whether through photos, videos, or reports-they become strong evidence of a business’s long-term commitment to sustainability.
CSR is not just a seasonal campaign or a departmental KPI. It should be embedded in a company’s culture and guide decisions across every level.
No act of good is too small-true responsibility lies in the everyday choices we make.
