The Journey of Tea

Do you have tea for cold brewing?

Do you have tea for cold brewing?

Why cold brew tea?

Because the bitter compounds in tea,

such as polyphenols and caffeine,

have larger molecular structures and are not easily extracted in cold water.

Cold-brewed tea is usually sweet and smooth, but the aroma is lighter.

Aroma compounds need heat to volatilize, so we can smell them.

All types of tea can be cold-brewed, but the brewing time may vary.

Always refrigerate tea when cold brewing.

If left out in hot weather, bacteria can grow and the tea may become cloudy,

making it unsuitable for drinking.
